Lattix Introduces New Approach to Manage Software Architecture at the SEI SEPG Conference

Seattle WA , 7 March 2005. Today Lattix introduced a new approach for managing the architecture of software systems based on dependency models for software process improvement initiatives such as Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI®) and Six Sigma. Lattix is the first company to offer lifecycle management solutions based upon Dependency Structure Matrices (DSM) to represent the architecture of software systems.

Architecture is critical to managing the development of software at each stage of the entire lifecycle. Processes to manage architecture require visualizing the big picture and creating a blueprint, then communicating and controlling change as it evolves. New technology demonstrated by Lattix at the SEI SEPG conference enables automated processes to analyze and enforce the architecture. Lattix Solutions provide the means to quantify architectural deviation and measure progress for remediation so that it is possible to achieve more from your improvement initiatives.
