Tour of Lattix LDM

This comprehensive self-paced demo consists of 5 sections, each about 5 minutes long at a leisurely pace. The first section explains the Dependency Structure Matrix (DSM) concepts and the Lattix approach for specifying and enforcing architecture. The other four section of the tour demonstrates the use of Lattix LDM on a real application, ANT, the popular Java build utility. You will see how the architecture of "Ant" has evolved over a three year period through successive DSMs.

Click here to start at the beginning, or on any section below to view only that specific topic:

  • Learn the Basics Concepts of DSM and the Lattix Approach
  • Visualize and Specify the Architecture
  • Identify Problems and Restructure to Improve the Architecture
  • Establish Rules to Communicate and Control
  • Track Changes in Each Build
